who we are

we’re Alex and Claire, friends and founders of bar buddy!

we graduated from law school in may 2025 and now practice as data privacy attorneys. when we took the bar, we reviewed nearly every single night on facetime. we memorized rules together, complained together, and together, we held each other accountable. showing up each day became easier because we were showing up for each other.

little did we know that our partnership would turn into something bigger. after we passed, we reflected on how isolating bar prep can be, and would have been, had we not had each other. we realized there’s a better way to do things so we built a community program that gives students the kind of support that made all the difference for us.
