Frequently Asked Questions
-
yes! every student needs to apply and be accepted prior to payment.
-
our application isn’t meant to scare anyone away. its a way for us to get a sense of who you are as a student and why you’re interested in our community.
we are curating a non-judgmental, non-gunner, genuinely supportive environment for the bar. we want to make sure accepted students reflect those values.
-
our applications for the july bb program opens mid-march. after that, apply any time until early may. we’d recommend you apply early since we’re capping our july class at 150 students.
-
once accepted, you’ll be placed into a virtual, tailored review group of up to 10 students based on shared interests.
you'll still study on your own each day but you can use the group to coordinate practice exam review sessions, bounce questions off of each other, and hold each other accountable.
-
once a week, you can join a live, virtual movement class taught by claire. you sign up for the time slot, move for 30 minutes, and you’re out of there!
the idea isn’t to derail your entire day; its to intentionally build in gentle movement each week. as the weeks get tougher, the consistency of our barre buddy movement series will become your best friend.
-
NO! we’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again. we are not a traditional bar prep company. we don’t teach any bar related content.
we provide a supportive community and regular movement to enhance your bar experience.
-
look, everyone studies differently. what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for the next.
BUT from our experience, reviewing alongside a dedicated partner (or group!) and building gentle movement into our weekly routine kept us focused, positive, and calm throughout the entire process. it really helped us feel like passing the bar was doable - we hope you give it a try and feel the same way!
-
our pop ups are a way for you to get to know us and vice versa. law students from all local schools are invited so it’s a chance for you to relax, make new friends, and have fun.
we’ll be in Philly, New York, and DC this spring. we’d love to see you there!
-
yes! pop ups are free for any law student who would like to join us.
-
yep! on our spring pop ups page, we have a very short registration form. this is not an application process, it’s just to give us a head count for the event.
-
definitely! law students at any level are welcome.
-
our pop up class is taught by claire and will run 40 minutes. afterwards, feel free to hang out, meet other law students, and shop products from our small business partners.
if you’re a 3L, definitely stick around. you just might have won the give-away gift!
-
claire designed the class to be equipment-free and beginner-friendly. even if you’ve never done barre or pilates-fusion before, you’ll be totally fine.
just remember to bring a yoga mat.
-
absolutely. grab your law school friends and come together.
